This show was something quite different to a normal race meeting as Sprintcars were the only class on the program along with the Jordan Luck band (Exponents) playing during and after the racing. Unfortunately the weather really tried to disrupt proceedings but determination and a lot of wheel packing got us through in the end.

Fantastic weather and a bumper crowd of approx 10,000 race fans really set the scene at Western Springs for the Boxing night show. It is always awesome to see a massive crowd at the springs. The track looked really nice at the start of the night but got very slick by the end of the night.

We headed back to Manawatu for the second time in two weeks with our fingers crossed for good weather which thankfully prevailed. The track was looking great and most of the out of town cars had all made the effort to come down again so things were shaping up for a good night.
